About

WanderWohl is a travel start-up that provides curated thematic trips around the world. There’s at least two sides to each story and we offer history enthusiasts, the opportunity see things from a different perspectives. We bring history to life and reveal aspects of popular cities that remain hidden to even life-long residents.

Our Partners

Our key principles are authenticity, historical accuracy and cross-cultural enrichment as such, all our tours are co-created with experts and led by seasoned locals guides. We maintain the quality of our experiences, by only offering planned small group tours a few times a year. Our content experts are all highly accomplished academics who have studied and written about our trip’s focus area. The local tour guides and companies we work with have several years of experience and many of them grew up in the very cities we visit. Several of our subject-matter experts have personal connections with the people and places we explore.

WanderWohl is the brain child of an avid traveller and chronic over-planner who also happens to be obsessed with trivia. After accumulating folders full of itineraries, screenshots and travel contacts from across the globe, she decided to create an opportunity for other history and travel enthusiasts to combine their passions and dabble in a bit of time travel. By leveraging her other superpowers- stakeholder management and building synergies, she brought together seasoned guides, passionate locals and subject matter experts to curate a truly unique experience that can only be described as a school trip for globe-trotting nerds.
